LEGO Fan Convention returns to the City of Culture
The Block Con LEGO Fan Convention will be returning to the UK City of Culture this August, following a successful year in Hull last year.
Coming to the City’s fabulous Guildhall on Sunday the 27th August, the event promises to be full of exciting new LEGO models created by some of the UK’s finest LEGO builders.
From distant galaxies to The Simpsons Springfield, we’ll have a range of themes represented by our talented Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs). We’ll also have a marketplace full of rarities and bargains from a handful of the best independent LEGO boutiques in the UK and the always-popular Play Zone, with thousands of LEGO bricks for kids young and old to let their creative juices flow.
“It’s great that we’re coming back to Hull this year, particularly given the City’s status the UK City of Culture for 2017”, said Rich Lawson, the show’s organiser. “it’s even better that we will be right in the heart of the city this year, at such a majestic venue as the Guildhall.
“LEGO lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy the show and all it has to offer, before taking a stroll into the heart of the city on the Bank Holiday weekend, making for a fantastic day out for all ages”.
Block Con – Hull will be held on the 27th August 2017 from 10am until 5pm (last admission is at 4pm) at the Guildhall, Lowgate, Hull, HU1 2AA. Tickets for the show are available now at www.blockcon.co.uk.
