Thank you to everyone who attended Block Con at Bramall Lane Stadium on Sunday. We hope you had a great time – we did!

Almost 1000 people turned up to view the creations of our amazing master builders from the Sheffield LEGO User Group, and friends from other LUGs around the country, so thank you for your support. During the day, we asked you what your favourite model was so that we could award a prize to the best model based on your votes.

Placing your vote also entered you into a prize draw, and we are pleased to tell you that the lucky winner was Otis Turnbull, aged 6, who voted for the Minecraft model in the Public Vote category. Unfortunately the model you voted for didn’t win the trophy, but at least you won a prize. We’ll be in touch with more information soon.

If you had a go at the Spot the Minifigure Anagram, you’ll probably already know that the answer was of course BLADES.

As always, we had three trophies to give out to our builders on the day, and the winners were:

Public Vote: Star Wars Hoth Battle Scene by Rob Mitchell

AFOL Award: Avatar Movie Layout by Simon Blackburn

Critics’ Choice: VW Garage by Danny Wilkinson

We have uploaded a number of photos from the event onto our Flickr page, which you can find by clicking on the image below:
