Block Con, Hull 2016
About the event
The Kingston upon Hull Block Con, to give it its full title, is the inaugural Block Con event in the United Kingdom. The event, which is the first of its kind to come to Hull and the East Coast, will feature of LEGO® models from talented Adult and Teenage Fans of LEGO® from around the country. It will be hosted by Stackable Events at the KC Lightstream Stadium (Craven Park) in Kingston upon Hull on September the 24th and 25th, 2016.
We aim to bring you a great LEGO® shopping experience, with over a dozen of the countries leading independent LEGO® retailers attending, giving you a chance to buy those collectable sets and minifigures you’ve been looking for, and providing pocket money treats for the children, as well as giving you a chance to pick up original items that you would be unable to find anywhere else.
What kind of Block based event would it be without a room full of fantastic LEGO® models built by some of the countries leading LEGO® modellers. From fantasy scenes and sci-fi goodness, through to classic LEGO® themes, with large city layouts, classic space and highly collectable sets, you’re sure to find something you enjoy.
We’ll also be inspiring the next generation of LEGO modellers, hosting a large play area, filled with LEGO bricks, assisted play, colouring and creativity, and LEGO® video games, giving the adults a chance to put their feet up, and enjoy a snack and a drink from one of the catering kiosks.
All this and more will be coming this September to the Iconic KC Lightstream Stadium at Craven Park, Home of the Rugby Superleague team, Hull Kingston Rovers.

Finding the KC Lightstream Stadium
Follow the M62 (eastbound) to junction 38. Here the M62 turns into the A63. Continue on the A63, under the bridge and over the flyover, and continue over the roundabout still along the A63. At the next roundabout exit the A63, and join the A1033 (Hedon Road). Follow the A1033 straight over the roundabout and past Hull Prison. After about 1/4 mile is another roundabout, again head straight across and approximately 1000 yards later, turn left at the roundabout into Marfleet Lane. At the next set of traffic lights turn right onto the dual carriageway (Preston Road). The KC Lightstream Stadium is about half way down on your right hand side just before the end of the dual carriageway.
